Since 2010, I’ve volunteered with the Illinois Butterfly Monitoring Network. My site is Nachusa Grasslands. It’s a wonderful place and the only place around where you can see a Regal Fritillary butterfly.
At home, I’m a bird watcher. We have a pond and stream, which attracts more birds to the yard every year. I’m lucky to photograph them when I can spot them.
This is my beautiful Hawaiian-made ‘ukulele. Not long after I purchased this Kanile’a… I sat on it. OUCH! Luckily Chicago Fretworks was able to repair it fairly quickly.
